The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando was established in 1937 by the Orlando Humane Society. This Pet Alliance is one of the most well-known and established animal advocacy organizations in the area; it is committed to the health and welfare of dogs and cats only. The group has been working very hard to make sure that pets have happy and safe lives, and they have been very insistent that the community play a part in ending homelessness among dogs and cats.
As they continue to set greater standards, Pet Alliance hopes to give nearly 5,200 homeless cats and dogs compassion, love, and hope this year. Pet Alliance offers housing, food, and medical attention. Dogs often stay at the shelter for eight days, while cats typically stay for fifteen days. The communities we serve provide all of the funding for Pet Alliance’s animal shelters. Currently, Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando runs two pet adoption centers in addition to three veterinary clinics.
Unexpected Information
Numerous cats were killed Wednesday night when a fire broke out at an animal shelter in Orlando, according to officials.
